Route A
The distributor route
Their portfolio, their rules
The traditional way in. Proven, and expensive.
- Margin priced into every machine sold
- Your customers become their customers
- Niche brands often wait at the door
For machinery manufacturers entering the UK
Agrirep gives your machinery brand a working home in Britain. We take your machines in at our Devon base, build and inspect them in our own workshop, deliver them across the country and answer every enquiry in your name. You stay in control. We do the heavy lifting.
Why Agrirep exists
There are easier ways into Britain, and each one costs you something. A distributor takes you on if you fit their portfolio, then takes their margin and owns the relationships. Your own subsidiary gives you control, after a slow and costly set-up. We built Agrirep for the manufacturers in between.

Route B
Your operation, ready made
A working UK base that answers as your brand.
Route C
Full control, at full cost
Right for some brands, eventually. Rarely first.

Services
Each service stands on its own. Together they behave like your own UK branch: the same hands that unload your machine will assemble it, deliver it and pick up the phone when its new owner calls.
A British trading address, your phone answered in your company name, and post, parcels and enquiries handled from Devon.
Containers opened, machines checked in and stored securely at our Devon facility, with stock you can see.
Workshop build-up and pre-delivery inspection to your own checklist, signed off before any machine reaches a customer.
Machines and parts delivered to dealers and end users nationwide, with the paperwork done properly.
Parts on the shelf beside your machines, warranty settled in country, and engineers to site when one needs them.
A named UK contact who answers as your brand, looks after your dealers and keeps your customers close.
From LAMMA to IMHX: stands, demonstrations and launches that put your machines in front of British buyers.
The same hands that unload your machine will answer the phone when its new owner calls.
How it works
Five steps, each with something you can hold in your hand at the end of it. And a written record of who does what before anything ships.
We review your fit, your compliance position and your best route in. The document is yours to keep.
Ownership, responsibilities, protections and exits, all agreed in writing before anything moves.
Customs and VAT coordinated. Your machines arrive, get built, inspected and made ready.
Dealers engaged, demonstrations booked and every enquiry answered in your name.
Grow the base. Or hand it over to your own subsidiary once Britain has earned one.
Your assessment ends with a dated plan for your first shipment

Sectors
Three sectors, three very different routes to market. Our team works in all three every day, so you start with the channel knowledge most entrants spend years buying.
Sector one
Franchised dealers decide who wins in British farming. We know the networks, the shows and the paperwork that follows a tractor around, and we help your brand earn its place.
Sector two
Britain buys construction kit through dealers and hire fleets alike. We work both channels, and we speak fluent CESAR and NRMM.
Sector three
Forklift imports into Britain have grown every year since 2022, yet exclusive distributors keep new brands waiting at the door. This is the fastest way through it.

Ownership & control
The questions export directors ask us first are the ones this industry tends to answer last. We settle them in writing before a single machine ships.
Machines and parts in our warehouse stay yours. We never buy your brand or your equipment. We operate under your flag, never over it.
Relationships, data and dealer agreements belong to you, and a written non-compete keeps it that way for the life of our agreement.
Importer of record, invoicing, warranty work and reporting are agreed and documented up front, alongside your own advisers.
The people behind Agrirep
Agrirep is not a consultancy that hired a warehouse for the photo shoot. Our team has spent more than thirty years selling, launching and supporting machinery in the UK, so your machines join people who already live this trade.
Three decades working with machinery manufacturers, dealers and their customers across Britain.
Experience launching and representing overseas machinery brands in the UK market.
Agricultural, construction and material handling: bought, sold, hired and supported for real customers.
Our in-house digital team looks after the marketing side of your launch: equipment photography and video, launch campaigns, dealer marketing and show graphics, made by people who know machinery, not by an outside agency.

Clear boundaries are the reason manufacturers can trust a partner with their brand. Here are ours.
Ownership stays with you. So do control, customers and the upside.
Every contact and every dealer belongs to your business, during our agreement and after it.
Fixed terms, clear break points and a defined exit, including handover to your own subsidiary.
Customs, compliance and dealer networks all take real work. We show you the work, then do our share of it.

FAQ
You do. Machines and parts stored at our facility remain your property. We receive, store, prepare and move them on your instructions, under a written agreement that also protects your customer relationships and your data.
There are two lawful routes. You can import in your own name, which needs a GB EORI number, an indirect customs representative and UK VAT registration. Or a UK-established business can act as importer of record for you. We walk through both in your assessment and agree the right structure with your advisers.
Our agreements run for a fixed term with clear break points and a defined exit, including the option to hand the operation to your own subsidiary later. There is no obligation to form a UK company, and no evergreen lock-in.
That depends on your machines and their compliance lead times, so we won't quote a number before we know them. What we will do is put a dated plan in your assessment, from signed agreement to first demonstration.
